However, the following mistakes must be avoided:

#1: Assume that you already know your Purpose.
#2: Purpose to be considered as a fad only.
#3: To consider other things as more urgent and important.
Many people avoid reflecting on this because they suspect that it is about their own transformation, the outcome of which they do not yet know. As a result, they stand still - and become driven, especially in a time of multiple crises.

The following steps will keep you on course even in stormy weather:

#1: Zoom out
The first step to getting into the momentum is to take a bird's eye view.

Who hasn't heard the saying. "You can't see the forest for the trees." If you're in the middle of it all, you don't have an overview.

Day after day, however, we do just that: throw ourselves into the middle of the workload. Deadlines and tasks set the pace.

Instead, it's worth changing your perspective and looking at yourself from a different angle.

How can this succeed? For example, through the method of constellation, which makes it possible to look at your "system" - your team, your company - from the outside and to perceive surprising dynamics in a short time.

Put yourself in a position that allows you to reflect.

#2: Recognize map
The next step in the quest for more momentum is to identify patterns and structures.

The next goal is to get orientation.

Most of the time, we are too rushed in our daily lives to take time for it.

Instead of filling the calendar with deadlines and letting them guide us, we need a compass to point us in the right direction - and also help us say "no" more often.

Use integral maps, as we present them in our book "Communication rethought", to view situations through a holistic lens: Mindset - Behavior - Structure - Culture in the big picture.

The right map is crucial to finding a suitable path.

#3: Become aware
Have you often wondered why employees don't take on more responsibility and pursue their goals more independently?

Getting clarity about one's inner drive is a prerequisite for being able to follow it consistently.

The problem we usually have with Purpose is that it is initially intangible and many think it is something "exclusive".

So-called "generative" conversation formats are helpful in becoming aware of what really matters - the third step on the journey of discovering the inner drive.

"Awareness" was also a key concept at the conference "WE DISCOVER PURPOSE", where I was recently invited to speak in Zurich.

Thank you for reading this far.

Hello, If you use the momentum of your inner drive, you can empower yourself and work in a meaningful way.
